Bifrost announces strategic investment into Slash Vision Labs

We are proud to announce Bifrost’s strategic investment in Slash Vision Labs, a pioneer in the cryptocurrency payments landscape. Slash’s innovative ecosystem and its governance token, SVL, are revolutionizing the way we think about crypto payments. This partnership is poised to expand the use cases of cryptocurrencies into daily life, aiming to create tangible, real-life applications for crypto that enhance accessibility and practicality for consumers and businesses alike.

Slash’s premier offerings, Slash Payment and Slash Card, mark significant milestones in the industry. Since its inception in October 2022, Slash Payment has processed over $200 million in transactions and enabled more than 4,000 merchants to accept a diverse array of tokens. Additionally, the Slash Card stands out as the first and only crypto-backed credit card in Japan, scheduled to launch in the summer of 2024. It seamlessly bridges fiat and crypto economies, paving the way for a wide range of consumers, merchants, developers, and institutions to enter the cryptocurrency world.

This strategic partnership will see Bifrost’s proprietary cross-chain technology applied to Slash’s existing infrastructures.
